I have produced some panoramas of Crete using a programme called "PixMaker".  You simply take a number of overlapping pictures, and the programme "stitches" them together. These can be printed out, or alternatively viewed as moving panoramas on your monitor, or loaded onto a web page.

Here you can see some examples of Moving Panoramas taken on my first visit to the beautiful Island of Crete in 2000, using a Fuji 2700, 6800, and Canon S50 digital cameras:   Please allow time for the picture to fully download;  the short wait will be worth while to enjoy the high quality of the images. --   I have also added some appropriate music for each picture, so have your loudspeakers on.

These pages are best seen with version 4  or above, ideally at a screen resolution of at least  800 x 600 pixels, and a color depth of at least 16 bit.   If you are unable to view the pictures, or the moving panoramas, you may need to enable "JIT compiler for virtual machine" in Internet options/advanced , and/or possibly installJava, or Microsoft Java virtual machine.  Windows XP does not install this by default.
